Training and Placement Cell at NHITM successfully conducted a “Students Skill Development Program” under the banner “The Big Transition from Campus to Corporate” for all the students of the Final Year (2017-18). The competition for jobs in the corporate world has become so fierce today that there is a growing need of certain extra skills to fill the gap between the campus and industry. To smoothen the transition from campus to corporate it now has become mandatory to equip our students with certain
non-academic skills, which help them to grab better opportunities in the corporate world.
This program was well planned and conducted in-house by Training and Placement team under the leadership of the T and P Co-ordinator Dr Mousumi.B.James in particular slots, side by side their academic schedule during the months of August and September 2017. This included aptitude training, soft skills development, mock interviews (personal & technical) and career counselling.
