National Digital Library  (NDL) – Ministry of Human Resource Development under its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology has initiated the National Digital Library (NDL) pilot project to develop a framework of virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility for all disciplines, all popular form of access devices and differently-abled learners. The pilot project is devising a framework suitable for future scale up with respect to content volume and diversity to become a full-blown National Digital Library of India over time.As a learning facility of NHITM Library, individual login for students and the faculty has been created to facilitate access of this learning source from anywhere inside or outside the campus.

SWAYAM is an instrument of expansive information, an initiative of MHRD ( Ministry of Human Resource and Development ) providing opportunities for a life-long learning. Here learner can choose from hundreds of courses , virtually every course that is taught at the university / college / school level and these shall be offered by best of the teachers in India and elsewhere.  SWAYAM presents a unique educational opportunity to expand the horizons of knowledge, which can be accessed by students and faculty from anywhere inside or outside the campus.
